How to Join NEPCO
NEPCO has two levels of membership--Active Members and
Associate Members. Members are billed yearly in advance for dues
in the month of August.
Active Membership
This type of membership is designed for Home Owners
Associations (HOA) who want to leverage the strength of other HOAs when
issues that span the county are encountered. Active members are
entitled to vote as defined in the By-laws
Additionally,
NEPCO members are entitled to an apportioned share of the NEPCO
webspace to host their organization's website in NEPCO's
sub-domain.
To become an Active Member, the HOA writes a letter to
the NEPCO Board of Directors at the address given on the left-hand side
of this page. The letter must include;
1. A statement that the HOA wishes to be a member of
NEPCO.
2. The full name of the HOA
and a description of the HOA's boundaries.
3. Contact information
(Name, Phone, Address, E-mail Address) for the HOA's President and an
HOA representative to NEPCO.
4. A check made out to
NEPCO for the year's dues in the amount of;
10¢ per represented
household or lot in the development plus $15.00. This is rounded
up to the next $5.00 increament. Example: A 215 lot development
would pay (215 x $.10) + $15.00 = $36.50 rounded up to $40.00.
Associate Membership
This type of membership is designed to allow any
individual, group, or business to be associated with NEPCO.
Application to be an associate member is made to the NEPCO Board of
Directors. After review, the board will make a determination to
accept the membership. Associate members are not entitled to vote
nor and they apportioned webspace. Annual dues for Associate Members
shall be $25 for informally organized groups of homeowners and $50 for
other applicants.
To become an Associate Member, the applicant must
write a letter to the NEPCO Board of Directors to the address given on
the left-hand side of this page. The letter must include;
1. A statement that the applicant wishes to be a
member of NEPCO and why the applicant interests are complementary to
those of NEPCO.
2. The full name of the applicant and a
description of applicant's group, activity, or business.
3. Contact information (Name, Phone, Address,
E-mail Address).
4. A check made out to NEPCO in the appropriate amount for a one year membership.
